I'm Cristina. I’m a largely self-taught artist based in Vancouver, BC, starting my creative career in freelance illustration. In my illustrative world, I go by Baby Blue.

I’ve had the opportunity of coaching with Steve Huston through his online Draws From Life program, gaining invaluable knowledge and skill from his extensive experience in life drawing and the entertainment arts. I’ve also spent some time at Think Tank Training Centre, where I learned basic 3D work within a few months, having no previous experience. I’m always looking to expand my skillset to further refine my craft, and my next goal is to dive into 2D animation.​

On a more personal note, I have been drawing and making art for as long as I can remember, but I have not yet had the privilege of calling it my full-time craft and profession. Currently, my foremost goal is to change that. I am deeply passionate about my craft and strive to infuse my work with the same energy and inspiration I feel when bringing an idea to life, honoring the creative source that fuels us all.
